The Grow Your Own Mental/Behavioral Health Talent Internship Program has available internship opportunities for diverse, under-served populations to obtain career opportunities in the Mental/Behavioral Health field.

We have 25 available Internship positions, paying $15/hour for 200 hours.
Academic internship credit may be available through your University

Internship Requirements

Age 18 to 30
Must be able to complete 200 internship hours by December 2022
Have relevant lived experience
Enrolled in a Mental/Behavioral Health-related program of study at a participating institute of higher education (e.g. community college or university), or have completed a peer specialist training program through a community-based organization
Have Right-to-Work documents such as a California Drivers License and Social Security Card
Selective Service Registration, if applicable (Males born after December 31, 1959, must be registered for Selective Service—a requirement for any program supported by Federal funds)
