Yolo County is offering free resources to help people find new, sustainable career opportunities, as well as workshops to help job seekers maximize their employment prospects.  Yolo County Library, YoloWorks! and Starbucks are teaming up to offer virtual employment assistance, career training, and access to free resources on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 1 pm and 5 pm.  During these online sessions, YoloWorks! will present information about – resume and job application support, weekly career workshops, a Loan-To-Own Chromebook program, free Training Opportunities, and free Google Career Certificates.   The workshops will be followed by Q&A sessions.  Attendees must Register at this weblink to access the meeting: https://tinyurl.com/YoloWorks.  Participants can also view the sessions using a café laptop at two Starbucks locations:  401 Pioneer Avenue, Suite A, Woodland or 30016 Country Road 8; Dunnigan, https://yolocountylibrary.org; Yolo County Library on Facebook www.facebook.com/yolocountylibrary.org and Instagram @yolocountylibrary.
