Sacramento Works’ Business Information Centers (BIC) help start-up and small businesses access the information, tools and guidance every entrepreneur needs to ensure the success of his or her business. All of Sacramento Works’ BIC services are low cost to free.

Small Business Information

Through the BICs, you have access to an extensive library of business information to help manage your business. You can benefit from the large selection of resources at the business library that will help guide you through the many challenges facing your small business.

Workshops and Seminars
In addition to the many services offered to employers through the Business Information Center, there is also a large selection of workshops and seminars on various business and management topics.

Recruitment and Hiring
An important element in the success of a small business is the staff it hires. The BIC’s have a wide selection of services designed to facilitate the recruitment, screening, interviewing and hiring of qualified workers.

Counseling for Private Businesses
There’s nothing more valuable in the development of a business than experience. Our small business experts and retired entrepreneurs are available to share their wealth of experience with you. If you’re looking for advice or help developing an effective business plan, our experts can provide customized counseling to fit your needs.
