Addiction Counselor Training Program

BAART Programs and MedMark Treatment Centers will host a Job Fair to hire and train Addiction Counselors.  Interviews will take place on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, from 9AM to 7PM, at the Hilton Arden West, 2200 Harvard St., Sacramento 95815.  Pay starts at $17/hour.  New hires will receive an on-location paid 12-weeks training.  Applicants wanting to help others suffering from Substance Use Disorder (SUD) is who we’re seeking.  Please read this flyer for more details, and additional information Email link, BAART Programs & MedMark Treatment Centers Job Fair.

ESL Learners Pre-Apprenticeship

Farm/Ranch Manager Apprenticeship

The Center for Land-Based Learning is conducting the Beginning Farm and Ranch Manager Apprenticeship Program for interested job seekers.  The Apprenticeship Program connects aspiring farm and ranch managers with established farms and ranches that provide a space and opportunity to develop and practice the skills needed for these careers.  This is also a Veterans Administration-approved training program; eligible veterans may receive their VA education assistance benefits to supplement their apprenticeship wages.  Enroll in these Free Agriculture and Leadership & Management courses to graduate as a Journeyworker in Beginning Farm Management.  Information sessions are hosted every second Tuesday of the month.  These two flyers contain further details and instructions  CFA Apprenticeship Flyer;  CFA Apprenticeship Position Description.
