CAJ Manufacturing Industry Training

 

Charles A. Jones Career & Education Center (CAJ) is hosting a weekly Virtual orientation on Wednesdays, at 9:15am, during the month of January 2022 to describe a 5-week, 90-hour, intensive training in the manufacturing industry.  Choose between a selection of courses and start your career in manufacturing.  Successful program graduates will have earned an OSHA ID card, Forklift card, Charles A. EGUSD Training Behavioral Aides

Elk Grove Schools with Point Quest will host a Hiring Event to employ and train Behavioral Aides on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 9533 Stockton Blvd. Suite 225, Elk Grove, CA  95624.  Behavioral Aides will work with school staff to instruct and counsel children on positive behavior, among other duties of this position.  Point Quest is a Special Education Program fully accredited by the Schools Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and will assist Elk Grove Schools in the training of Behavioral Aides.  Please read this flyer for more details Victoria Job Fair Flyers. AJCC Hillsdale Basic Computer Training        Hillsdale AJCC is presenting an in-person Workshop entitled Basic Computer Training on Wednesday, January 26, 2023 from 9:00am-11:00am at 5655 Hillsdale Bld., Suite 8, Sacramento 95842.  The course is an overview for customers with little or no computer knowledge.  This Workshop will teach basic computer skills – keyboard, data storage (USB Drive), intro to Microsoft Word, how to  navigate the internet, email basics – among many more areas.  You must be registered in CalJOBS to attend (www.caljobs.ca.gov); and, you must have Picture ID (originals only; no copies).  For more information, please call (916) 263-4100, Monday to Thursday, from 8:30AM-4:30PM.

 

CMC Manufacturing Free Job Training

California Mobility Center (CMC) will instruct a Training Session that starts on Monday, January 30, 2023. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9am to 3:30pm, and is located at 8351 Luzon Ave., Sacramento 95828. CMC will provide lunch for the participants, and a bonus stipend will be given to those that complete all the units. We are conducting this training in English and Farsi/Pashto in parallel. We will expand to other languages once we have more instructors trained. This training can be used for entry-level manufacturing jobs or related industry sectors like infrastructure (construction and utilities) and transportation (mechanics). Essentially, any position that requires knowledge of hands tools, power tools, technical documentation, machine operation, electronics, soldering, and/or quality.

FREE Heavy Highway Trades Academy
