Root & Rebound is hosting two days of FREE Virtual legal clinics, MARCH 2nd-3rd, for people with arrest or conviction records who reside in Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Mendocino, Sacramento, & San Joaquin counties.  At these telephone clinics, we will be providing legal information about navigating barriers to reentry related to employment, housing, public benefits, family & children, immigration, parole & probation, and more.  An appointment is required for these clinics. FREE COVID-19 TESTINGsponsored by South Sacramento Care Center (SSCC), Black Child Legacy Campaign (BCLC) and Simmons Community Center, in partnership with Sacramento County and CA Public Health Department:  WEDNESDAYS from 8:00am-11:30am or 1:00pm-3:30pm.   Individuals who test positive will receive direct instructions on next steps.  Registered Nurse Supervisors monitor all tests, and Medical Assistants guide each individual as they test;  the NEW self-administered testing is provided under the supervision of trained assistants SSCC, BCLC and Simmons CC are NOT a hospital and do not provide aftercare.
