Youth Paid Internship Peers Helping Peers

Attention Youth and Young Adults Ages 17- 24, the Peers Helping Peers Program is now accepting applications for the Winter 2021 Cohort!  Cohort Dates: November 2nd to January 6th.  The application deadline is October 22nd.  The application link is HERE.   Who Can Join?  Youth and young adults ages 17-24 living in Sacramento County who have been directly affected by untreated mental illness, violence, poverty, homelessness, incarceration, or school failure.  Youth and young adults are offered a $300 stipend for participating in the 7-week training before their paid internship.  For more information about the program View, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mG_co8aBhVI or VISIT, https://healthedcouncil.org/…/peers-helping-peers.html.   Please email questions to Chris Cooper, Program Administrator at ccooper@healthedcouncil.org
