San Juan Unified School District Is Hiring!

San Juan Unified School District (SJUSD, San Juan) has open positions for the 2022-23 school year!  The district will be hosting three hiring events in July for entry-level positions for both part-time and full-time positions.  The hiring events will take place from from 1-3 PM on the following dates and locations:

Course – Inmates to Entrepreneurs

YoloWorks!Yolo County Health & Human Services Agency, and Inmates to Entrepreneurs are launching the 8-week 12E July National Course on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 3:00-4:30PM local CA time via Zoom.  This course helps people with criminal backgrounds start low-capital businesses.  Online Registration is open now, and this virtual course is free.  This course supports those with criminal histories who have started, or are interested in starting, their own small business.  More details about Inmates to Entrepreneurs, and upcoming course dates, are found HERE.   Please Register HERE.

ACC Senior Services In-Person Career Fair

ACC Senior Services (ACC) is a not-for-profit organization that provides an array of wellness/well being accommodations to elder persons, including Transportation for Seniors, Meals on Wheels, Caregiver Support Services, and Senior Job Training Programs.  On Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 11AM to 3PM, ACC and the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) will host an in-person Job Fair at 7334 Park City Dr., Sacramento 95831 (916.394.6399).  Admission is FREE!  Many career options and paths will be presented at this event.  Please read this flyer for further details and to RSVP, SCSEP Flyer.  The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a community service, and work-based, job training program for older Americans authorized by the Older Americans Act. This federal Dept. of Labor program provides training for low-income, unemployed seniors.  Participants also have access to employment assistance through American Job Centers (Sacramento Works AJCCs).
