SVMA/CAJ Fall 2022 Manufacturing Program

Sacramento Valley Manufacturing Alliance (SVMA) and the Charles A Jones Career and Education Center (CAJ) will be starting its Fall 2022 cohort of manufacturing classes on September 6, 2022.  These classes include – a one-day Forklift Driving class (dates for testing in English are August 26, September 1 and September 2, 2022), as well as an Introduction to Manufacturing course and Welding classes.

Sierra College Offers Construction Bootcamp

Sierra College is conducting the Construction Fundamentals Bootcamp from Tuesday, August 23 to September 29, 2022 from 8AM to 5PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and ThursdaysThe Bootcamp is a tuition free, noncredit course series.  There are no textbooks.  Safety equipment and tools are provided.  The course includes field trips and talks with employers.  Students are provided job placement services at the end of the course.
