Community Health Event for Children

Sacramento County Public Health, SETA Head Start and Pothong Market are sponsoring an in-person, no-cost Community Health Event for Children on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 9AM to 12PM, at 3540 Norwood Avenue, Sacramento 95838, near Silver Eagle and Norwood.  FREE health and administrative services.  FREE COVID-19 vaccines for anyone 6-months and older.  FREE Childhood immunizations for children 0-18 years of age who are uninsured or are Medi-Cal recipients.  Sign-up before attending this event – call: 916-875-7468.  Please read this event’s flyer for a list of no-cost services being offered, and for Registration information – Community Health Event (2).

DHA Virtual Job Talk – Employers Are Hiring!

Raley’s and Goodwill Industries will participate in the June 6, 2023 DHA Virtual Job Talk, Virtual Job Talk Flyer – 1 – Pre-registration CUSTOMER- 6.6.23.  The Sacramento Co. Dept. of Human Assistance (DHA) will host this VIRTUAL Job Talk from 1:30-2:30PM.  CalWORKS customers/job search clients wanted!  Please read the attached DHA flyer (above) for further details, and full instructions on how to REGISTER.  To join these virtual job talks, that connect job seekers with job opportunities, you must Register by emailing: DHA-AE00-VJT@saccounty.net.  Once Registered, you will receive a Skype invitation and confirmation via email.  Also, the DHA hosts VIRTUAL job talks on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
