Virtual Hiring – People with Disabilities

The Association of California State Employees with Disabilities (ACSED) is hosting a virtual, three-part, series focusing on job opportunities for people with disabilities and those participating in LEAP.  ACSED, CalHR, DOR, the Statewide Disability Advisory Council (SDAC) and Sacramento Works will host a LEAP-oriented employment fair on June 1, 2022 to end the series.  Please read this event flyer 22-05-03 ACSED Materials Flyer Three Dates.  Additional information, including Registration links, can be found on the ACSED website: https://www.acsedonline.org/leap/.  This event occurs on three consecutive Wednesdays – May 18, May 25 and June 1.

May 18, 2022   11am–4:30pm – DOR Counselors will provide virtual LEAP Certification to individuals who pre-registered.  Make a confidential appointment with DOR councilor and get LEAP certified through Registration link: Appointment with DOR Councilor

May 25, 2022   1:30pm – link for webinar: State Hiring Professionals

June 1, 2022    9am–1pmVirtually meet with representatives from dozens of state organizations at this career fair.  Registration link:  California State Employment Career Event for Individuals with Disabilities on Talentspace.

CA Fish & Wildlife Hiring Includes LEAP

California Department of Fish & Wildlife (CDFW) is Hiring online!  State Civil Service eligibility is not required for these jobs.  Positions available include temporary and seasonal jobs.  CDFW participates in the LEAP Program (Limited Examination and Appointment Program (LEAP)) and encourage LEAP Program participants to apply!  Many seasonal Technician, Aide.
