FREE EV Training in February 2023

Clean Start, is working with Community Resource Project, and other partners to implement a grant offering free training preparing people for jobs working with zero-emission vehicles. The 144 hours of training includes hands-on work learning about manufacturing, repair, and charging equipment installation.  Our upcoming (February) training session focuses on preparing women for this work.  Future months target other underrepresented groups as well as people with backgrounds in automotive and electricity.  Here is a link to our outreach materials and, Here is a link to a landing page we made about the program.  This Program is funded by the California Energy Commission.  Submit applications today.  Applicants must be available for hands-on training at South Sacramento jobs centers.  There will be 5 cohorts of 20 people each.  If you are not selected, you may be eligible for future cohorts.  Each cohort will have 4 weeks of classroom training followed by 4 weeks of hands-on training at the job sites.  The Community Resource Project, Inc.
